Delete your ProfCalendar account
You can delete your ProfCalendar account and the data that belongs to it at any time — in the app, or by email if you no longer have the app.
Option 1: in the app (immediate)
- Open ProfCalendar and go to Settings.
- Optional but recommended: tap Export data (.ics) to keep a copy of your calendars.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
The deletion takes effect immediately. There is no grace period and no undo.
Option 2: by email (without the app)
- Send an email to privacy@profcalendar.app with the subject "Delete my ProfCalendar account".
- Send it from the email address of your ProfCalendar account. We reply to that address to confirm the request really comes from you.
- After your confirmation we delete the account and tell you when it is done — at the latest within 30 days, normally within a few days.
What is deleted
- Your account (email address, password hash) and your profile (display name, avatar).
- All calendars you own, with all events and comments in them — including shared calendars you own, together with the other members' events in them. The app lists these calendars before you confirm.
- Your memberships in other people's calendars, your invite codes, your push notification tokens and your usage counters.
What is kept
- Events and comments you added to calendars owned by someone else stay there, but without your name — they are shown as written by a "former member".
- Database backups may still contain your data until they are overwritten, at most 30 days after the deletion. Backups are only used to restore the service after a failure.
Deleting only some data
You can delete individual events, comments and calendars in the app at any time without deleting your account. For other requests about your data, write to privacy@profcalendar.app.
